Soul Mates

_{Atsuki ran on her back legs through the brush. It was a cloudy day, and gray clouds rumbled gently overhead. Rain seemed promising. Her souls drifted at her side, glancing at the sky.
Little did she know, though, that she was being followed.
She entered a clearing. A breeze gently caressed the earth. She sat back on her tail and allowed the breeze to flow through her mane. Her eyelids lowered to slits in content.
Suddenly a force knocked into her from under. her feet flew in the air. "Ack-!" she exlcaimed. She was riding on someone's back. The stranger was weaving around below her to keep her on her back and in the air.
She saw a flash of gray, orange, and blue. She suddenly realized who it was.
"Tsenyaru!" she exclaimed crossly. "What're you doing?!" He didn't answer, but he stopped, balancing her on his back. Giving her a cheeky grin, he said "I'm making you float!" She blushed and said, "Stupid, I can still partially float..." "But your back legs keep you close to the ground!" he replied. "So?" she asked. He cocked his head in a confused way. "Don't you WANT to float more?" She paused, then replied, "Well, I suppose so." He began to weave again, and she heard him say smugly, "Aha! I knew it."
She sighed and said, "We should be patrolling our borders." He stopped once more, and again balanced her on his back and replied, "We can send our souls out instead." He glanced at said souls, and all of them floated quickly away.
"It's not fair to make them do our job!" Atsuki protested. He began to weave again, ignoring her. "Tsenyaru! Stop this foolishness!" she demanded. He stopped and licked her nose, making her grin into an unexpected smile. "You are too serious sometimes," he murmured.
She mumbled incoherently, and he continued to weave and make her float down the clearing.
"We probably look ridiculous," she muttered as a final act of protest. He just chuckled and they continued on their way.}


Woo! Story time! i picked up the whole story thing from the crazy ! She's so awesome. She's a fellow blue addict! Woot!
Ahem. so, yes. You bet i'm doing a Tsenyaru and Atsuki chibi piece! These are one of the most creative charas i have ever thought up, i think.
and yay for design changes! Atsuki has two back legs here, and tsenyaru has two front legs.

if you don't know this yet, these are my soul dragons breed. they have a set maximum number of lives, which are souls donated by animals who wish to make the dragons live longer (the animal sacrifices its soul to them, and travels with them in spirit, then takes their place in death if the dragon dies so it can be revived.) Atsuki has seven souls and Tsenyaru has six. For every soul they lose, they gaina limb to aid them in battle. Atsuki can have up to six limbs, but Tsenyaru has up to four because when he loses his fifth life he gains two wings on the end of his tail.

Yeah. And that sign on Tsenyaru's shoulder is the sign of the soul dragon, woot! It's on both shoulders, and if atsuki had forelimbs, she'd have em too, except they'd be purple.
I'll have to post a full picture of tha new designs. D: oh noes! more work! DX
